Every room in every flat is fitted with its own emergency pull cord, as are all communal areas and hallways, ensuring help is never far away. In addition, each resident is provided with a personal emergency pendant to wear, allowing for instant assistance at the press of a button — whether you’re in your flat, the garden, or elsewhere on the property.
To support this system, a duty manager is always on shift and sleeps on-site overnight, ready to respond immediately to any out-of-hours needs or emergencies.
With a safety-first approach and help available around the clock, Melton Court ensures you can enjoy independent living with full confidence and support.

Bin Collection
At Melton Court, we make everyday living as convenient as possible — including how you handle your rubbish.
Enjoy a daily collection service, 365 days a year, for both general waste and recycling. Simply leave your rubbish bags outside your door, and our team will collect them promptly. We’ll also empty your recycling containers, so there’s no need to carry bins or worry about collection schedules.
House-Keeping Service
At Melton Court, every apartment benefits from 1.5 hours of housekeeping each week, included within the service charge. This covers general cleaning to help keep your home comfortable and well-maintained.
For those who would like additional help, we also offer an optional housekeeping service tailored to your needs. Whether you require a full clean or just assistance with specific areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, or living space, extra hours can be arranged at the following rates:
- £16.12 per hour (8am – 6pm)
- £16.63 per hour (6pm – 10pm)
- £13.27 per hour (10pm – 8am overnight)
This flexibility means you can choose the level of support that suits your lifestyle best.
Delivered by our trusted, professional House-Keeping Assistants (HKAs), the service is flexible and can be arranged as a one-off or on a regular basis — giving you more time to relax and enjoy your day.
On-Site Parking
Melton Court offers ample on-site parking, ensuring ease and accessibility for both residents and visitors. Designated parking bays are available on-site, providing a safe and convenient space for residents with vehicles.
At the front of the property, you’ll also find dedicated waiting bays, ideal for guest drop-offs, short visits, or taxi and transport pick-ups — making arrivals and departures as smooth as possible.
For added peace of mind, the development includes clearly marked emergency response parking bays, ensuring immediate access for ambulance, fire, or other emergency services when required.
Guest Suite
Melton Court offers a beautifully appointed on-site guest suite, providing a convenient and comfortable stay for visiting family or friends — so loved ones can feel right at home without having to travel far.
The suite features two single beds that can be easily joined to create a double, giving flexibility for couples or individuals. It also includes a private en-suite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and separate bathtub, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all guests.

On-Site maintenance
Melton Court provides a full on-site maintenance team as part of its service package, giving residents peace of mind that the building, communal spaces, and essential systems are always taken care of. The team includes a Court Manager, Duty Managers, Housekeeping Assistants, a gardener, and a handyman.
For personal requests inside apartments, a handyman is also available at £6.00 per 15 minutes (Mon–Thr) or £6.42 on Fridays.
